If you feel intense fear when you are in high places…
If standing on a rooftop, balcony, or ladder triggers panic…
If you experience dizziness, rapid heartbeat, or loss of control when facing heights…
It is important to understand that these reactions are not weakness — they are structured emotional responses created within your internal mental filters.
At FIKR for Training – A Training for Life, we address the fear of heights using the New Generation of NLP, developed by Jihad Abou Zeid. Through the CFSTP model of the mind, we work directly on the internal community of filters that shapes how you perceive height, space, and physical safety.
Understanding the Fear of Heights
The fear of heights, also known as Acrophobia, is an extreme emotional reaction to elevated places. Even when there is no real danger, the mind interprets height as a threat and activates a panic response.
Common reactions may include:
- Rapid heartbeat
- Sweating
- Dizziness
- Loss of balance sensation
- Muscle tension
- Sudden panic or urge to escape
Over time, the mind strengthens the association between “height” and “danger.” Avoidance becomes the automatic protective response. However, avoiding heights reinforces the internal pattern and can begin to interfere with daily activities — climbing stairs, standing on balconies, traveling, or even simple work tasks.
How NGNLP Works
NGNLP does not focus only on calming symptoms. It works on reorganizing the internal filters that are producing the exaggerated fear response.
In one-to-one sessions, we:
- Identify the initial experience or internal coding that created the fear pattern
- Analyze how the mind linked height to danger
- Use CFSTP-based processes to reorganize that internal coding
- Reduce the emotional intensity attached to the memory or perception
- Install new associations of stability, control, and safety
Advanced NGNLP techniques such as CFSTP processes, ATH, and TDC allow us to work on the structure of perception itself, rather than simply managing reactions. When the internal filter is reorganized, the body no longer activates unnecessary panic in safe situations.
The Outcome
Clients often experience:
- Greater calmness in elevated places
- Reduction of dizziness and panic reactions
- Increased sense of physical stability
- Improved confidence in daily activities
- Freedom from avoidance patterns
You are not meant to live restricted by unnecessary fear. When the internal structure changes, your reactions change naturally.
