If you feel anxious the moment you think about the airport…
If you are afraid of airplanes…
If you experience panic inside the plane, especially during take-off or turbulence…

It is important to understand that this reaction is not a weakness. It is a structured fear response created by internal mental filters.

At FIKR for Training – A Training for Life, we address fear of flying using the New Generation of NLP, developed by Jihad Abou Zeid. Through the CFSTP model of the mind, we work directly on the internal coding that associates flying with danger.

Understanding the Fear of Flying

Fear of flying, also known as aviophobia or aerophobia, is an intense emotional reaction to air travel. The anxiety may begin days before the flight, increase at the airport, and peak during boarding, take-off, turbulence, or landing.

Common reactions may include:

  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Sweating
  • Shaking
  • Nausea
  • Shortness of breath
  • Panic attacks
  • Strong urge to avoid travel

In many cases, the fear is not about the airplane itself, but about loss of control, imagined danger, or past emotional associations. The mind links “flying” with “threat,” and the body activates a survival response — even when the situation is objectively safe.

Avoidance temporarily reduces anxiety, but it strengthens the internal fear pattern, making future travel even more stressful.

How NGNLP Works

NGNLP does not focus only on calming you before a flight. It works on reorganizing the internal filters that produce the fear.

In one-to-one sessions, we:

  • Identify the origin of the fear pattern (past event, imagined scenario, or learned association)
  • Analyze how the mind attached danger to flying
  • Use CFSTP-based processes to reorganize the emotional coding
  • Reduce the intensity of the automatic fear response
  • Install new associations of safety, stability, and control

Advanced NGNLP techniques such as CFSTP processes, ATH, and TDC allow us to work at the structural level of perception. When the internal filter changes, the body stops activating unnecessary panic in safe situations.

The Result

Clients often report:

  • Greater calmness at the airport
  • Reduced anxiety during take-off and turbulence
  • Improved sense of control
  • Ability to travel without panic
  • Freedom from avoidance

You do not have to organize your life around fear of travel.
